PM Modi Threatens to Met out Instant Justice to Red Fort Blast Conspirators in Bhutan Visit.Prime Minister Says Those Who Plotted This Shall not be Spared.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a two-day visit to Bhutan during which he lamented the Delhi Red Fort explosion that claimed the lives of 13 people and more than 20 individuals were injured. Addressing the Thimphu, the Bhutan capital, PM Modi gave assurances to the country that all those who took part in this fatal blast would be arrested.

This is a very sorrowful day I go to-day. The terrible act that has occurred in Delhi last night is something that has saddened everybody. I know how painful and heartbreaking it is to the families that are affected. The whole country is on their side at this time of tragedy, he said.

PM Modi threatens to deal with Conspirators.

After the blast, the Prime Minister disclosed that he was always in contact with investigative agencies at night. He reemphasized that the probe will uncover the full conspiracy and that the guilty ones will not escape by any chance.

Our agencies are toiling to the end to unravel this conspiracy. I would like to assure the country that the people responsible to this act will be subject to the maximum penalty, PM Modi noted.

Rajnath Singh Gives Bitter Warning.

A similar feeling was expressed by the Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, earlier in the day on Tuesday at the Delhi Defence Dialogue at the Manohar Parrikar Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA). He advised that the perpetrators of the explosion will get the sentences that will be more harsh.

I would like to strongly assure the nation that justice will be served. Those who committed this tragedy will not get away with it, and this is what Singh said in his address.

FIR Certified by Anti-terror and explosives Acts.

The explosion has been linked to an FIR filed in the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Explosives Act in the Delhi Police. The national capital is highly on the alert and the security in the airport and railways stations and other major transport center has been increased.

The scene in the area after the explosion that took place close to the historic complex of Red Fort was characterized by chaos and panic. The scene was soon covered by teams of Special Cell, Crime Branch, and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and was enclosed as a part of a massive investigation.

Two Arrested as Investigation Continues.

Authorities arrested two persons including Salman and Devender, who were former possessors of the car in which the explosion took place. The car that was involved was a Hyundai i20 that was traveling slowly when the explosion tore through the congested place at around 6:52 p.m. on Monday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah affirmed that the case is being investigated by various agencies in every possible direction, and the results are to be released after the investigation is over.

India has lost lives in the Red Fort blast and the government has promised to take speedy justice and act without compromise. As the probe into the case deepened, and the security was increased throughout the capital, the country now awaits the answers to one of the most outrageous attacks in the capital in the recent years.
