Reference to Hindustan Times.The founder, executive chairperson and key architect of Biocon Limited, a Bengaluru native Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw retorted strongly to an online user who had derided her Karnataka Rajyotsava post. On 19 November, the renowned business magnate shared on X some pictures of in-office celebrations of Biocon where the employees celebrate the creation of the state.

Every 1 st November every year, Karnataka Rajyotsava is celebrated to commemorate the unification of the state and the foundation of the state in1956. As a symbol of her culture, Mazumdar -Shaw showed a collection of photos of Biocon celebrations. In one of the photos, she was seen with one of the members of staff with the following caption: Celeating Rajyotsava at Biocon Limited.
A Firm Response to a Troll
Some days after the post, an X user posted a derogatory comment, implying that, Akka, there is no Kannadiga in the company? This remark was intended to discredit the diversity that she depicted in her photos.
Mazumdar-Shaw did not pay much attention to the comment and responded, I am aware that you are not a discerning person since you have decided to overlook other images of the event. This categorical answer was instantly shared in the net and her frankness was widely praised by many users.

Her response was quite attention-seeking. One of the users commented that Mazumdar-Shaw had been exceptionally vocal. Another critic who also recommended that others should not bow down to trolls praised her as heroic in fighting unjustified criticism as a commendable action.
