Nobel Peace Prize, shocked the entire world when she named her prize after the President of the United States Donald Trump. She thanked President Trump who has supported her in her quest to bring democracy back in her country.

In her repeated public utterances, Machado stressed that Venezuela is still overly reliant on the United States and President Trump to restore liberty and democratic rule in the nation.

The voice of Hope and Solidarity by Machado.

Through her social media posts, she shared with hope that her country is finally nearing victory and believes the world’s democratic nations will stand beside them in their fight for freedom.

She addressed the United States, the Latin American nations and the democratic world in general to continue being an ally in the quest of freedom in Venezuela.

Moreover, Machado used her Nobel Peace Prize to dedicate the entire award to the people of Venezuela and President Trump in his decisive support to counter the oppressive regime of Nicolases Maduro.

Censorship and Self-Exile by the Maduro Regime.

Once a presidential candidate, Venezuela’s judiciary, firmly loyal to Maduro, removed Machado from the race and prevented her from challenging his rule. After a self exile of over a year, she still led the opposition within the country.

She was the voice of resistance under strict provisions that made her the symbol of democratic pledge to many millions of Venezuelans whose economies were in descent and faced political persecution. The Nobel Committee recognized her relentless efforts to promote human rights and lead a peaceful transition toward democracy.

The Trump Silent response, But Not So Silent.

President Donald Trump retweeted the eulogy of Machado in a malicious new move in response to the Machado eulogy, repinning the message on his social media account with no comment. The unanswered coup, which achieved a lot, went viral.

Though Trump has in the past bragged about having been awarded a Nobel Peace Prize amidst brokering peace deals, he will release an official statement in the near future. His White House spokesman, Steven Cheung denounced the decision of the Nobel Committee as a politics over peace gimmick.

Cheung also made claims that Trump would still be able to negotiate peace deals, stop wars and save lives which restated his international diplomatic goals.

The Venezuela Policy by Trump that Machado Endorses.

Machado has always been on the firm position of President Trump against the Maduro administration. She has described the use of the U.S. military forces around the borders of Venezuela as a necessary step facing democratic change.

In January 2025, later, President Trump had publicly come to the defense of Machado when she was briefly detained in the middle of anti-government protests, according to him, the freedom fighters should not be kidnapped or killed. He also complimented the Venezuelans as brave and ascertained that their voices are the will of the people.

Leaders of the World in reaction to the Nobel Announcement.

International leaders reacted sarcastically after Machado received the Nobel Prize. Vladimir Putin from Russia and Benjamin Netanyahu from Israel openly criticized the decision, accusing the Nobel Committee of political bias.

However, many see the award as a victory for democracy, showing that international institutions still believe in the fight for human rights and justice.

As Venezuela stands at a crossroads, Machado dedicates the Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump, marking the beginning of a new era in world politics — one driven by bold diplomacy, loyalty, and an unwavering pursuit of freedom.
