Mr. Modi emphasized the increasing role of India in global manpower in the sea. In the last ten years, the Indian seafarers have increased more than twice, the figure of Indian seafarers has reached 3 lakh, a total of 1.25 lakh, nearly 3 lakh, makes India one of the top three countries in the world in terms of seafarers. This wave is an indication of the emphasis of the nation on the development of skills and global competitiveness.

In the context of the world in general, the Prime Minister commented that at a time of international tension, economic turbulence, and supply chain transformation, India is a beacon of strategic independence, tranquility, and non-discriminatory development.
