Anmol Bishnoi Extradited from US, Arrested by NIA in Baba Siddique Murder Case Anmol Bishnoi, a Gangster who is the younger brother of a previous inmate Lawrence Bishnoi, has been arrested in India after being extradited, after being arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Governments confirmed that PTI came to Delhi on Wednesday having been expelled in the United States where he had been languishing since November of the last year.

Police officials say that within the next few days, Bishnoi is going to appear before a special court in the capital. His appearance is a major news to the country in many high profile cases especially since his name has continued to be cited in high profile violent cases in the country.

The investigative agencies are monitoring Bishnoi because of his alleged commission of various heinous crimes, such as the shooting of actor Salman Khan outside his home in Mumbai in April 2024 and the murder of Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala. Another probe is on the extradition request made by the Mumbai Crime Branch which had already ensured that the extradition process was being completed to the United States.
Baba Siddique was murdered.
One of the key suspects in the murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead outside the office of his son Zeeshan in Bandra on 12 October 2024, is Bishnoi. The investigators have termed the attack as a highly organized operation that led to a countrywide crackdown of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
This case has already led to at least 26 people connected to the gang being arrested and the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) being used to reinforce the prosecution.
There are also other defendants who are being investigated.
Shubham Lonkar and Zishan Mohammed Akhtar are also wanted in relation to Siddique murder case and Anmol Bishnoi is also wanted. Their activities are undergoing investigation since the law enforcers keep mapping the larger criminal network.
